Amethyst: Serenity and Intuition
Description:
Amethyst is a variety of quartz with beautiful shades of violet, ranging from pale lilac to deep purple. Its color is due to the natural presence of iron traces and exposure to radiation during its formation. Used since antiquity for making jewelry and decorative objects, it is today one of the most well-known stones in lithotherapy, where it is traditionally associated with calming, intuition, and serenity.

Cleaning
Your crystals, healing stones, and minerals will need to be cleaned regularly to preserve their energetic and vibrational properties.
Colibri Minéraux et Bien-être recommends the techniques that are most respectful of mineral structures.
- Place in a bowl and put coarse salt underneath the bowl, preferably with a cloth or tissue to avoid direct contact with the salt, for a few hours or overnight.
- Pass through incense smoke (sage, palo santo, benzoin, cedar, myrrh, copal...) for a few minutes.
- Rinse under clear water for a few minutes (except for Malachite, Pyrite, Selenite, Azurite, Angelite, Calcite, Fluorite, Hematite).
- Purification by sound (Tibetan singing bowl, cymbals, tuning fork...).
Do not use any chemical products.
Recharge
Once cleansed, your crystals, healing stones, and minerals will need to be recharged to preserve their energetic and vibratory properties.
Colibri Minéraux et Bien-être recommends:
- Placing them on an amethyst druse or geode
- Placing them on a flower of life, or a shape wave (in our "recharging" collection)
- Exposing them to moonlight
For a few hours or overnight.
- Recharging with sound (Tibetan singing bowl, cymbals, tuning fork...)
Please note, some minerals are sensitive to the sun and may discolor; avoid long exposures.
