Rhodochrosite: Stone of the Heart
Description:
Rhodochrosite, often called "heart stone", is highly valued in lithotherapy for its soothing and regenerating properties. Its name comes from the Greek words "rhodon" (rose) and "chros" (color), referring to its magnificent pink hue which varies from pale pink to deep red.
Properties in lithotherapy:
- Heart Release: Rhodochrosite is known for its restorative virtues for emotional wounds. It helps release resentments, regrets and fears, thus promoting openness to self-love and love for others.

Cleaning
Your crystals, healing stones, and minerals will need to be cleaned regularly to preserve their energetic and vibratory properties.
Colibri Minéraux et Bien-être recommends the techniques most respectful of mineral structures.
- Place in a bowl with coarse salt underneath the bowl, preferably with a cloth or tissue to avoid direct contact with the salt, for a few hours or overnight.
- Pass through incense smoke (sage, palo santo, benzoin, cedar, myrrh, copal...) for a few minutes.
- Rinse under clear water for a few minutes (except for Malachite, Pyrite, Selenite, Azurite, Angelite, Calcite, Fluorite, Hematite)
- Purification by sound (Tibetan bowl, cymbals, tuning fork...)
Do not use any chemical products.

Once cleansed, your crystals, healing stones, and minerals will need to be recharged to preserve their energetic and vibratory properties.
Colibri Minéraux et Bien-être recommends
- Placing them on an amethyst druse or geode
- Placing them on a flower of life, or a shape wave (in our "recharging" collection)
- Exposing them to moonlight
For a few hours or overnight.
- Recharging by sound (Tibetan bowl, cymbals, tuning fork...)
Please note, some minerals are sensitive to the sun and may discolor; avoid prolonged exposure.
